Fluid Dynamics, Inc. is an independent certified Test & Balance (TAB) agency located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We have been a member in good standing since 1968 of the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC). AABC is a non-profit, independent organization establishing national standards for field Test & Balance procedures.
Fluid Dynamics, Inc. provides a field engineering service to the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry.
Test & Balance is the testing, adjusting, and balancing of various HVAC system components to ensure the entire system performs as specified by the design engineer. The same way a design engineer uses his or her knowledge to design an HVAC system, we apply those same engineering skills in the field, performing tests and adjustments to installed systems in an effort to produce performance characteristics as specified by the design engineer.
Testing and Balancing can include, but is not limited to, air distribution balancing, hydronic balancing, sound and vibration testing. Additional services that we offer include HVAC building surveys, design review, duct leakage testing, chiller and cooling tower capacity testing and bench testing of hydronic circuit setters and self-limiting flow devices.
